Construction drawings for extension and conversion
I used Martin for the construction/technical drawings on a extension and conversion of a 3 bedroom house into 4 x flats.
Martin provided a very competitive quote, he subsequently admitted that he'd underestimated the amount of work involved. Because of this the designs took longer to be produced than originally agreed. Great for extension planning application and design
I found Martin through a number of channels including Yell. I called and Martin responded very quickly and visited next day. I had firm plans re what i wanted for my extension and Martin was strong enough in his own knowledge and expertise to challenge me re some aspects and we ended up with a different but better plan. Martin then quickly drew up the plans and we had them submitted for planning inside 10 days! An excellent response, excellent input and excellent delivery. Highly recommended.

Advice and drawings for a new parking area - excellent and reliable
I asked for advice on a new parking area at the front of my property. The site is sloping and has mains drains crossing the site which would need to be relocated. The kerb would also need dropping and so planning permission would be required. Swordsman gave two options with full drawings. The quality of the advice and drawings was excellent and I shall be using Swordsman Design to advise on the next stage which is obtaining planning permission for the work to commence.

Architectural design review
Martin proved to be reliable, prompt and efficient and took on board all my ideas and suggestions, keeping me up to date with developments. He also did some background investigations with building regs and planning as well as assisting in trying to find builders to quote. I was impressed with the standard of his work and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
